What exactly is a podcast?
A podcast is like a blog, but with an MP3 or MP4 recording attached to each post. (MP3 is audio while MP4 is video.)
When you subscribe to a podcast using software like iTunes, you automatically receive a new podcast whenever you open the software after a new episode has been published.
How to subscribe to a podcast
How you subscribe to a podcast will depend on how you wish to listen to the podcast episode. If you have an iPhone or iPod then you will probably want to automatically download the latest episode to your portable device via iTunes.
If you have another mobile device then all you have to do is subscribe by adding the podcast RSS feed into your subscription options in your chosen software.
